Cookie Policy
Cookie Policy for DogMind Journal.
Current version
Version 1.0. Effective July 17, 2026.
Effective date: July 17, 2026.
This Cookie Policy explains the current cookie and similar-technology position for the V1 DogMind Journal public website. DogMind Journal is operated by Luboslav Janosik, a natural person based in Slovakia. For legal questions, contact lubjan40@gmail.com.
Current Classification
The current V1 public website does not intentionally add non-essential tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
The website uses technologies needed to load and secure pages, operate the newsletter signup, preview drafts during authenticated administration, and allow a visitor to choose whether to load a YouTube video embed.
No general cookie banner is added merely for appearance. If non-essential cookies, advertising tools, behavioral analytics, tracking pixels, or other consent-requiring technologies are enabled before launch, publication must stop until a suitable consent and preference mechanism is approved.
Website Operation And Hosting
Vercel hosts and delivers the website. Technical request, security, and diagnostic processing may occur as part of normal hosting and delivery. This policy does not list every provider-side operational log or security mechanism.
Newsletter Signup Through Kit
The newsletter page can load the native Kit form script and can link to a hosted Kit form. Kit manages the subscription, confirmation email, unsubscribe process, subscriber status, and checklist delivery.
Kit may use cookies or similar technologies when the embedded or hosted form is used. Kit controls its hosted and embedded form technologies according to its own documentation and settings.
YouTube Videos
DogMind Journal uses privacy-enhanced `youtube-nocookie.com` embeds. The website does not load the YouTube iframe until a visitor chooses to play the video. Before that click, the page shows a local placeholder and an optional link to open the video on YouTube.
When a visitor plays the embedded video or opens YouTube, YouTube / Google may process data according to their own terms and privacy notices.
Analytics
The repository includes Vercel Web Analytics support, but analytics only load in production when explicitly enabled. The current launch state does not enable production analytics. If analytics is enabled before launch, the final cookie and privacy wording must be checked against the actual setting.
Preview-Only Cookies
Authenticated Sanity preview can use preview-only cookies so editors can view draft content. These cookies are part of authorized administration and are not ordinary public production cookies for general visitors.
Browser Controls
Visitors can usually configure their browsers to block or delete cookies. Some features, such as embedded third-party forms or media, may not work correctly if required technologies are blocked.
